Double O Brewing

Founded by two brothers, Ogün and Orçun Cananoğlu, whose craft beer journey began in Savannah, Georgia, in 2013, Double O Brewing Co. was born from a passion for brewing, hospitality, and community. After experiencing the vibrant American craft beer culture firsthand, they brought that inspiration back to Cyprus in 2017, becoming among the pioneering forces of the island's modern craft beer movement.

What started as small-batch experimentation at O-LIVE quickly evolved into a mission: to introduce fresh, independent, and flavourful beer to a market dominated by mass-produced alternatives. Through a commitment to quality, creativity, and continuous innovation, Double O Brewing has grown into a respected independent brewery producing a diverse portfolio of beers, ranging from traditional European lagers and Belgian ales to hop-forward IPAs and contemporary craft beer creations.

Beyond brewing, Double O Brewing has played an active role in shaping craft beer culture in Cyprus. Through taprooms, brewery experiences, festivals, collaborations, and community-driven events, the company has created spaces where people come together to enjoy great beer, food, music, and culture.

Today, Double O Brewing operates its own brewery and production facility at HANGAR, while also running The Walls Inn, its flagship craft beer pub in the historic walled city of Nicosia, featuring 21 taps of carefully selected beers. As the company continues to grow, it remains dedicated to its original vision: creating exceptional beer, building meaningful experiences, and bringing people together one pint at a time.
