Our Story

Hangar Culture Space lives in the walled city of Nicosia, inside a stone warehouse from the early 20th century. Carefully renovated, the building reopened in August 2022 as a brewery, a place for quality beer and beer lovers' community.

In 2026, Hangar opened its doors to cultural events. After a handful of pilot evenings, we welcome the public with a growing program of art, culture, and community gatherings.

This next chapter is a collaboration between a visionary brewer and a curios curator, brought together by a simple observation: Nicosia needs more spaces where people can meet, create, and be heard.

Together, we’re shaping Hangar Culture Space as a venue that is bicommunal and international, a meeting point for Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots, expats, students, and travelers who want a place to connect.

Our promise is clear: craft beer meets culture, and community takes center stage. Just a welcoming space built for real people, real moments, and meaningful exchange.
